I prefer Robert Quinn of Nassib but that might be based more on emotion than logic. I have heard the analytic crowd, Mina Kimes the PFF crew repeatedly state that maintaining a top flight defense is harder to do than an elite offense. Once McVay got here the Rams offense went from putrid to top tier however the Ram's defense over the same time period has bounced all over the rankings despite having elite players for most of that time frame. Never putrid but from middle of pack all the way to #1 overall.
