There is no way that OBJ should worry about what other healthy WRs are getting. He is coming off a major knee surgery. I think we will find a way to have him try to hit a bunch of incentives in a new contract. The Rams have written them before and I'm pretty sure OBJ's last contract was full of them. So, if he plays X amount of games he gets Y. If the Rams make the playoffs, he gets Z. If the Rams make the NFC Championship game he gets A. If the Rams win the SB again he gets B. And so on. The Rams paid for his surgery and are taking care of his rehab and have every intention of doing well for him and the team. If it was a different organization I would worry about this process. But, the Rams have done a brilliant job in handling contracts by rewarding their stars and if a player exceeds the contract we give him a raise. When Robert Woods came here and far exceeded his FA deal we extended him with a huge raise. I'm liking this off season.
