AD is a much more valuable player that Sanders ever was and DS was Terrific. He was the ultimate shut down CB and All Pro returner. But, what AD does by collapsing the pocket throws the whole play off before the QB can even look for a receiver. McVay has AD take practice plays off so that they can actually run the play. I've never seen anyone else do this consistently. Saw a lot of Reggie White and Lawrence Taylor. Both were incredible and I would like to see AD have a few more big years before saying he should be ahead of either of them. That Thomas guy the Chiefs had was pretty disruptive too. Deacon was unstoppable in his era. So many greats. But, as probably the best DT of all time where his push is right into the QB he has the most effect on the possibilities in the play design. He destroys those designs. He forces QBs into crazy forced throws. He creates fumbles. He stops ball carriers in their tracks. It's a little early to discuss the best of all time while he's still playing. But, he is well on his way to earning that distinction and by the time he hangs them up there may not be a worthy disco because AD, by then, will be the defensive GOAT.
