That would be the best situation for Morris to have. Burgess only played 7.8 % of the defensive snaps last season so he contributed very little. Most know by now I am not a fan of either Taylor Rapp or Jordan Fuller starting period but Fuller might (doubtful) be able to contribute slightly better by playing up more than the back end.
I would hope that DC Morris will find two new starting safeties this season. It would be best if Fuller was considered an experienced reserve, he does not have enough talent to make plays or the ability to be a starter. IR'd the first two seasons in the NFL indicate he can not remain on the field without getting hurt.
I would prefer that in the end & the beginning of the regular season we will see both Nick Scott & Terrell Burgess as the starters with rookies safety Quentin Lake & Russ Yeast increasing their snaps on the field. Jordan Fuller would be a good 5th safety. Rapp is considered is an ILB'er from now on or traded away for future draft picks.
