I’ve got a sneaky suspicion about Burgess’ role this year…

Perhaps his struggles in ‘21 were due to lingering effects of his nasty injury in ‘20.

A new DC in Morris didn’t help him, either.

Anyway, the early feedback on Burgess this offseason is very encouraging. If Burgess emerges as we all hope then this Ram secondary should be a force. A semi-elite unit that can at least partially offset the loss of Miller’s pass rush.

Fingers crossed for the kid.
