That loss hit me like a ton of bricks, man.

That loss (2nd Niners) was devastating but I personally hit rock bottom after the loss to the Packers.
That loss made us winless in November and the chatter that the Rams were in decline was growing and one of the losses were to the Niners which compounded the misery. Stafford was playing poorly throwing pick sixes like crazy.
Only silver lining was that the Rams were kind of off the radar as a serious contender anymore for a few weeks until the playoffs began.
