Bill Walsh as well. McVay is not going to coach when he's 60. Or 55. Or 50. To me 10 years is a nice round number and enough to potentially establish an all-time great legacy. He's already well on his way through year 5. With Stafford, Snead, the support he has from Kroenke, etc. it's all laid out really well for him.

It's hard to dismiss the attraction of announcing gigs given the compensation he would get and the (significantly less) time commitment vs. coaching.
