I have strong doubts too. At this point he is competing for the 8th or 9th OL spot. But like you said, this time last year so was Allen and he had probably 20/80 odds to even make the final roster. So you never know. Being in a contract year is often very motivating for players. We'll see if that's the case with Evans. At a $1.17M cap number I don't think they will keep him if all he is just going to be their 9th OL.
