If Bruss really does win the RG spot then, assuming Jackson is the 3rd OT and Shelton the top interior OL backup, I would have Anchrum as the 8th OL. Are they going to keep Evans as the 9th OL with a $1.17M cap number? Maybe, maybe not. Hope he does well and makes the team. But I think his roster spot is very much up in the air. Of course, a year ago so was Brian Allen's.....
I think Evans is on very thin ice, 93.
OG is not his forte and as you pointed out he kinda looks like a victim of the numbers game at either OT spot.

43 IMO, that's exactly it. Evans just doesn't give off the impression that he works hard at his craft and I could be wrong, but just watching him, he's slow off the ball and does not seem to react well in pass protection, where he truly struggles. Again, IMO, I hope he proves me wrong, but to this point like last year being handed the RG spot and then losing it even before preseason speaks volumes.
