Re: Peter King on possibility of Rams v Packers in London

The Rams will get their chance for sure. But not this year.

The NFL has adopted a plan where 4 teams from the conference that has 9 home games will host an international game. This year that's the NFC so the Rams were candidates. But they were not chosen.

This year the Pack, Bucs, Saints, and Cards were picked to host an international game. The Jags are also hosting one, but they volunteered (again) to do that.

Here's the international schedule from [www.nfl.com]

The NFC will get another chance in '24, '26, and '28. The Rams will get their turn once (and only once) in one of those seasons. (And at the end of 8 years every team in the league will be selected once with this method.)
