Make sense. Basically 7th round picks make sure you get the undrafted free agents you want to bring in, so having 3 means you for sure get the 3 of the ones you wanted.

Sort of like the late first through 3rd rounds are all similar, then 4th and 5th rounds ,even 6th rounds are the guys that didn't quite make the top 100, and then the 7th round is pretty much undrafted guys that you want to bring in for a look.
