He did have a "bad" back this year but I think the "procedure" he had was on his elbow. That might explain some of his under throws last year.
Agreed! There were many posts pondering the lack of arm strength on some of his deep throws. He was on and off all season. Maybe this explains the erratic throws like the one in the 49er game that Tartt dropped. Hopefully this cleans it up and imagine how dangerous he will be if he starts hitting or giving the receiver an opportunity to fight for the deep throws.
