Thought I'd share a couple of observations with my Rams brothers and sisters...
My family and I drove out to Riverside from Tucson for a wedding last Wednesday, and we stayed in town for a few days. I proudly brought and wore my Superbowl Champions T-shirt and another with the new Rams head logo. I was hoping to be one of many displaying team colors, considering the location and it's proximity to LA.
Perhaps it was just bad timing or circumstance, but the ENTIRE time we were there I saw NO ONE wearing anything having to do with the Rams. We visited crowed areas, food courts, even a random farmer's market. I was beyond surprised and more than a little disappointed - we DID just win a Superbowl in our home stadium just a couple of months ago, right?
I know there have been many posts here about fan support in the LA area and how we are still trying to win back a lost generation of younger fans, but I did not expect this. I guess we're just going to have to win a few more championships to wake the masses.... Any thoughts??
there is over 20 million people just in SoCal area......not all of them are Rams fans and it's been over two months since Super Bowl....only us true fanatics still run around town in Rams gear
that being said, I work at a busy casino in San Diego county and by far most people that are still wearing NFL gear is Rams gear.....
