the problem is sheer pick availability in the range needed to find what we require. Rams have one good shot at trying to fill a starter role with that round 3 pick. They have bigger needs at both corner and edge. So there's a good chance safety ends up falling by the wayside with those first couple picks or forces them to move down from that round 3 pick to garner more shots at starters to accommodate safety.
But if they can get Honey Badger inked at an affordable rate then they are much better in that safety room and have a vet addition who can upgrade different roles they require. Then if they can find a rotational edge and a solid depth corner with some upside they're in business.
