I don't get it.
This late round pick, as a rookie, comes in and contributes. But because he's not an instant polished player suddenly he's canon fodder. Just a Guy.
But McVay thought he was good enough to play a serious role on STs, and play WR in big games and to contribute.
For Pete's sake give these late round draft picks a couple of years to develop. This idea that he is too "slow" is nonsense. He's fast enough for the kind of WR that he is: a possession WR of size.
I suspect he'll be a Ram for at least 3 more years. His problem is that he has 3 WR1's ahead of him, and maybe 4 if OBJ comes back. But, in certain situations he'll play a role next year. Because he's a good player that will get better if he works hard enough.
