There's a lot to be said for continuity and familiarity when it comes to enduring success. But in one way, I think bringing in players for brief stints -- like Von, Suh, Fowler, Weddle -- and now Allen Robinson -- keeps things fresh and new. Not just for fans, but for the team. These players can bring a level of fresh enthusiasm that is infectious. It could be easy to fall into a rut and lose some intensity if you're always playing with the same group, but bringing in players like this brings a sense of renewal. Yeah, there's a learning curve, but not too steep for seasoned pros. Still wish we could've kept Von, but I like the way this team brings in these high-profile vets year after year.
