Chris Garrett is a great story, small school guy, great stats, and has to overcome so much, including Covid, to just make the team. We got to see him dominate in a preseason game where he destroyed the offense during a couple of series. It was a WOW moment and yet that is the last I can remember seeing him.
How can you not root for Chris Garrett? But how much do we know about him and his ability to contribute as at least a rotational/situational player next season? With Lewis always being an injury risk, though Safford was until he wasn't, it will be interesting to see how McSnead handle the OLB depth now that Miller is gone. How they address this situation may tell us a lot about how they feel about Garrett's progress and readiness going into the season.
Garrett is someone I will be looking at with great interest and I will be looking for clues as to how they really feel about him.
