I am dubious that we have enough at CB, Edge, and ILB to be a defense that can make an impact.
And we don't even know if AD is willing to play with reduced support.
There's a long way to go this off season. But we have not, yet, put anything on paper that I would call a championship level defense.
Maybe our FO can spin gold out of straw in the late draft and 2nd or 3rd wave FA. But they are facing long odds in doing it again with little capital to spend.
We'll see.
