I always chime in about wanting Robert Quinn back but I realize how hard it would be returning to a place as a knight or a rook when you used to be the king. I recall hard knocks and a wide eyed up and AD was at Bob Quinn's palatial pad getting some wisdom from the OG. Quinn might not want to come back there as an accessory when he used to be an essential. Could it be that there was a fear that Woods would have issues with Kupp being the clear number one? Robinson and OBJ wouldn't because Kupp's seat at table was established when they got here. Not saying Trees wanted anything less than the best for Coop but maybe having to deal with a sulking Gurley, another player that was once the alpha of the lockerroom but who clearly wasn't in the end made McVay extremely adverse to even the possibility of it happening again.
