I don't either. His cap number goes up each of the next four years (through 2025). But his cap number as a percentage of the projected salary cap is actually highest this year (7.8%). It goes down somewhat in 2023 and 2024. I would sure like Woods here through 2023. Beyond that, who knows.
We all saw how the offense sputtered a bit when he first got hurt and before OBJ got up to speed. He does some of everything. And Woods has a lot of intangibles that are really valuable and his leadership should help fill the void from Whitworth retiring.
