Though it would be funny if they use another one on a QB who basically doesn't see the field once again.

But on the surface, it looks like the Packers just weakened themselves and the path through the NFC gets a bit easier.

Would have been nice if Brady stayed retired, but the Rams showed he can be beaten in the playoffs -- and Father Time has got to catch up to him eventually. Maybe it's this year.

Be interesting now who "wins" in the Watson sweepstakes. I still think he winds up in with the Saints. But we'll see.

But it looks like the Packers may have taken themselves out of serious NFC title contention now.
