Just asking the hindsight question.
No doubt he impacted the Rams and made some plays no doubt.
I am disappointed he didn't choose to come back, he has enough money...why not try and win again with the Rams I doubt they were more than a few mil a year from what he will end up with from the Bills.
I am bummed he didn't pick them...it makes everything he said about playing with these guys and liking the team and culture feel a bit fake.
The Bills don't have Donald or Floyd or anyone close to them really...If he thinks the Rams D and talent didn't help him just like he helped them he is mistaken.
He wasn't setting the world on fire in Denver the last couple years, Donald and he were perfect playing off one another...I wish him well...
But he isn't a Ram and showed them no loyalty after they went and got him and wanted him, gave up a bit to land him and I am guessing they offered him fair money... He just left... Makes you wonder about all the friendships and great guys he loved here and what they are thinking now...It would be one thing if the Rams didn't show him any love or try to sign him or tried to lowball him and he left...I wouldn't be so redassed about it.
On the one hand I’m disappointed that he’s not gonna be a Ram, of course. The ‘run it back’ talk was apparently just that. All talk.
But the Rams were smart not to pay him stupid money just to stay.
Hard to blame him for accepting that Bills offer, though.
