On the one hand Rams have not been inclined to spend heavily on ILB and Safety positions in the past. OTOH, they certainly have been inclined to invest in elite or near elite players at many positions since Snead and McVay have paired up.
Is Wagner affordable? Who knows? I never thought some of the other studs Rams have brought in would be affordable, either.

But I’ll say this. If the Rams do acquire Wagner then I’m certain that they will have plans to scheme him into an already good D in ways that take maximum advantage of his skills. Opposing O’s will NOT be happy to see Wagner in this D.
