I remember that! I believe it was the Jets / Dolphins in the Orange Bowl...1980??

NBC put extra Mikes on the field / sidelines (Those round plastic dish things). Though live, I believe they had a 5 second delay to edit any nasty words. I think a few slipped in, if I recall. I remember watching the first part but got bored with the game itself. Back in those days, I was probably looking for a sand lot game.
