Maybe 3 year window?

March 06, 2022 07:33AM
I'm counting on the Rams' window being open for at least 3 more years - thru the 2024 season - and maybe squeezing 2025 as well.

All the info below is from [overthecap.com]

The Rams already have these guys under contract for 2024:

Aaron Donald
Jalen Ramsey
Leonard Floyd
Cooper Kupp
Robert Woods
Tutu Atwell
Ernest Jones
Bobby Brown III
Robert Rochell
Jacob Harris
Jake Funk
Ben Skowronek
Chris Garrett

If the Rams extend Stafford as expected and manage to sign both Von Miller and OBJ to 3 year contracts (or longer) you can add all of them to the mix.

Perhaps the Rams land Noteboom and either Allen or Corbett on 3 or 4 year deals? (That's what I'm expecting)

Perhaps even a few of these guys as well? Darious Williams, Johnny Mundt, Brandon Powell, Donte Deayon, Coleman Shelton, Travin Howard, Matt Gay, Sebastian Joseph-Day, Reeder. Any of these guys who sign for 3 or more years will also be around in 2024.

Rams free agents in 2023 (where they currently have nearly $80M in cap space) include Havenstein, A'Shawn, Hekker, Rapp, Henderson, Long, Brewer, Evans, Blanton, Gaines, Rozeboom, Hoecht, Hollins, Brown IV, Edwards, and Scott. Any of them who re-sign will be around for 2024 and probably beyond.

The unknown, of course, is who are the Rams going to add via draft, trade, and free agency? A mystery at this point for sure, but I bet quite a few new starters arrive before 2024 to keep this ball rolling.
