the combine stuff is fun and I enjoyed your write up - but the Rams seem to be relying more on senior bowl performance and lots of game tape with advanced metrics to calculate game speed, etc.
The fact that neither attends shows how they feel. The combine is good for interviews, but they can do those post combine with players they may have interest in.
Maybe they are trend setters this way. Lot of old school coaches and gm's in person at combine from what little of it I watched (kind of like watching paint dry on tv). In 5 or 10 years - will teams just be sending representatives like the Rams do?
