I mean maybe I'm on crazy pills or whatever but there is no real dropoff from Allen to Shelton. Rams can draft a center midrounds or maybe use Drake as a backup, where being undersized isn't such a problem. But I'll be very surprised if they prioritize him. It just makes zero sense to me.

So in about a month or so when Allen's re-signed because the Rams never do what I expect on the OL, I'll have to eat it. But for now just no way I see them doing that.

I disagree that Allen is the most important signing, but otoh, I could easily see him extended to a cap friendly contract. Continuity and protecting Stafford are high on my ‘22 to-do list.

I’m not sure that Shelton is SB worthy heir apparent, and that IS the bar, isn’t it?

My kingdom for a Creed Humphrey pick at #57 in ‘21. It just keeps circling back to annoy me again and again. I’m having trouble letting this one go, obviously. Sigh…
