that he wasn't fined.
I can see the officials missing the call on the field, but the league saw what what he did as plain as day and chose to let it go.
Seems like the NFL punishes who they WANT to punish and not who they SHOULD punish.
IMO a fine wouldn't do anything anyway. A suspension should have been given to both Ward AND Warner. These were examples of "premeditated" intent to injure Rams players. How the league can boast about "player safety" and just ignore this is mind blowing.
Fire Goodell
LinkSteve Harmon started this petition to NFL:
Roger Goodell has taken his position of power and corrupted the integrity of the NFL, from biased choices and fines to favoring teams, players and owners. He has fined players for things that he allows other players to get away with. Goodell Continues to abuse his position and the nfl should not have one man have ultimate power in everything that gets done in the organization, it should be done by a committee such as the real government does. At very least I would have the nfl create a committee that has the power to veto his decisions and all of the commissioners decisions should go through the committee before they can be made publicly and official.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
