I think Baldy analyzed the same thing yesterday.
Just a couple of thoughts:
1) With all hell breaking loose on his protections, I'm thinking that Burrow knew that he might not have time to even consider his TE (who would likely be slower coming out of his break);
2) Burrow was pretty good at recognizing the Ram DB dropping off to take away the slant. He hitched it thinking he might have time to get his WR to clear (this was the 2nd time I noted that he had to do that in the 2nd half); and,
3) Man...that fraction of a second is all Donald needed. When OC's are telling their QB's that they need to get the ball out quick against the Rams...they ain't lyin'.
