Super Bowl LVI may not have been a marquee matchup between two decorated franchises, but the world tuned in to watch the Los Angeles Rams beat the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday night. The game drew huge ratings, according to NBC, with 101.1 million watching on TV and another 11.2 million streaming it online.

The 112.3 million total viewers made Super Bowl LVI the most-watched television show in five years, going back to Super Bowl LI between the New England Patriots and Atlanta Falcons.

Cincinnati had the highest viewership share of any market, with a 46.1 rating – which means 46.1% of people in that market who could watch the game did have it on. Los Angeles drew a 36.7 rating, which didn’t crack the top 10.

When the Rams were in the Super Bowl three years ago, that game against the Patriots drew 100.7 million viewers, so this game against the Bengals was a considerable increase from a ratings perspective.
