I was excited when the Rams drafted because I saw him a lot at Florida.
I think we can still be excited for him. He has so much potential and I hope he lives up to it.
I wonder if the signing of OBJ got into his head? Wasn't that supposed to be "his" spot?
I don't think so.
It seemed pretty clear to me (likely not so much for Jackson) that the plan was for VJ and Jackson to compete for the #3 WR spot with the primary assignment being to stretch the defense. Jefferson won that role...DJ pouted and left.
When Woods went down, OBJ was able to step into his role allowing Jefferson to continue his assignment. And even though I believe VJ to be more than a one-trick pony, a healthy OBJ is on a different level...and I'm sure he realized that.
I'll just chalk it up to him as not having his best game.
I think you are correct ramBRO. IMO, we haven't seen the best of VJ yet but...we will! I like the kid a lot. I am sure hanging with Kupp and Bobby Trees will help this kid go a long way in the future!
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
