I don't get the whole McVay and Donald leaving deal.
Both are not.
Although both are just beginning new contracts both deserve raises for this year. And I'm sure the Rams will openly offer them raises. If nothing else to bring down Donald's cap number.
Why handle that through the media?
They each said they would potentially leave only if they won knowing they were due to get raises only if they won.
Unless each is seriously considering leaving I don't get this tactic.
I'll eat a hat if they actually leave. And apologize. But if they don't leave and do get raises I will be at least slightly miffed by this behavior.
