This makes no sense

If they can design the cushy helmets to prevent camp QB hand injuries, can't they design an indoor playing surface that isn't harmful on the players that play on it? They have the overhead cam and the td marker cam, and the first down cam (for the viewers enjoyment), can't they have an artificial surface that is fast but not damaging on the players joints?
