Stafford is and has been a "very good qb" and IMO in clutch he is approaching a great qb. Just keep in mind great qbs throw interceptions and still remain great qbs. I believe Stafford may become one if he isn't already one. There has never been a "perfect" qb. Not Otto Graham, not Tom Brady, not Aaron Rodgers, not Joe Namath, not Tobin Rote, not Roman Gabriel, etc. No one.
well, one was but it was not a stupid one...but setting up a straw man of "never a perfect QB" is not helpful,
Why can't a player be very good? What can;t he have a very good game? One with some great throws and some
other so-so ones?
Why is that a bad thing? Stafford won it, but just because I say he was not "outstanding"---I read that as
an MVP-type game like we see guys have in SBs---this was not that, It was enough to win and winning is what matters
but is dissecting the game, why do he have to give a guy credit for more than he did?
That is what I object to, things that are not accurate.
Rams can be SB champs and Stafford led them there, but didn't have an outstanding game...or Rams would have blown
out Cincy. BOTH can be true at the same time.
