the terrible towels certainly made their presence more noticeable. Funny you should bring that up... because my brother-in-law and I actually thought of that at the game and made a count. No, not the entire Rose Bowl. 
We each took a small section from 4 areas... home field side 50 yd line and visitor side... then both end zones. We both counted the same... 2 sections we counted were Rams and 2 were Steelers.
