First off I'll say again I think he will be a good HC. Because he's got good experience both sides of the ball as a coach. Players respond to him. And he's a heck of a leader which is underrated IMO with all these wannabe-McVay hires that prioritize schematic knowledge.
But there are a lot of booby trapped jobs out there this year. Saints are in cap and QB hades. Dolphins have a moron of an owner. Jaguars and Texans have horrific front offices.
There were two jobs that I think are outstanding HC opportunities this offseason: Raiders and Vikings. So it sucks that Morris got beat out for the Minnesota job but he should be in for a great season next year and a job if he keeps doing what he's doing. I'm fine with that and it should be fun to watch him in year two and see how he expands what he's been doing.
