That Morris discussion thread that you referenced was started on Nov 15, 2021.
It contains 1220 posts over 61 pages, and counting.
Some posters defend Morris and others don’t. Most concede that he finally got his D up to snuff but it took him too long.
Needless to say Morris’ D results, particularly early on, have been quite controversial.
So, it seems awkward that you present this issue as if it was a one sided open and shut case. It isn’t. Not hardly.
