I am sure CIN will try to take away the deep and semi deep passing game of the Rams and hope that McVay will be stubbornly try to go that route anyway. Probably the only way they can hope to stop our offense because their d-line is not strong enough to put up enough pressure on Stafford for an entire game. He would pick their blitz apart as he has done all season long.
McVay has to stay disciplined in his play calling and not fall into a similar trap as he did vs Bellichek in 2018. Hope he has learned from that experience.
Akers and Michel will be key for sure and Staffor has to take the checkdown if the deeper routes are crowded which I fully expect.
Higbee will be a big loss in that scenario if he can not go.
I know many are down on Hopkins or do not see him as an option but in that scenario he could be huge because with his speed he could get some big gains on those checkdowns.
