KC obviously, in hindsight, should have kicked that FG right before halftime to go up 24-10.

In the 2nd half they ran the ball effectively (10 carries for 59 yards) but didn't stick with it and insisted on dropping Mahomes back to pass against 8 man coverages. That's why he was sitting there running around for 8-10 seconds.
