The media has so much power. Even Twitter, Facebook, etc can reach millions of people. There really is a big story (maybe several) here that is not being brought up enough IMO. Especially in the TV Media ie; ESPN, NFLN, etc.
The Dirty play of the whiners in that game was bad enough to warrant some attention IMO. That story could really get some attention and ratings.
Then there is the other side of that story where you could point out how CLASSY the Rams handled it! The Rams were bullied by the whiners for 3 straight years by being more physical and played them again in the biggest game for both teams in a long time with a SB on the line!
After being "assaulted" by the bully the Rams could have easily folded or fought back and got flagged too but no...they handled it as classy as ANY team I have ever seen! Instead of playing dirty, Nick Scott shows them how to do it LEGALLY!!! That really took a ton self control and smarts not to be intimidated.
Instead, they rise up after a very motivational speech from one of it's future HOF'ers and beat the bully and have them crying on the sideline and send them home!
IMO, both angles to this would make good stories if presented right. Why isn't them media making a bigger deal out of this?
Are we just "upset" Rams fans blowing this out of proportion?
Does the NFL not WANT this to be reported due to the bad look it would give the league? I mean as serious as they are about concussions but don't do anything about a Warner's blindside hit to the head on Stafford?
I am still very pissed about the dirty play and hate the whiners even more now and I didn't think that was possible! lol
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
