As do all those you mention , but Blanton has surprised me the most. He's been clutch, for one thing, even though his total targets are few... but also McVay/Staffords seemingly full trust in using him even in those critical situations. Blanton was certainly a very pleasant surprise, for sure.

But biggest surprise? Man, that’s a high bar.

I think I’ve gotta go with Nick Scott. He’s been playing like a man possessed since Fuller was injured, that includes 3 must win playoff games. And he’s been there right under our nose for years. It’s like finding money in the attic under gramma’s mattress.

If not Scott, maybe Greg Gaines?

Or Cam Akers?
