It was the third down incompletion (2nd niner drive) where Weddle, who was not physically involved in the pass breakup, walked over and extended a hand to Aiyuk to help him to his feet and he abruptly stood up and purposefully head butted Weddle under his chin with his helmet. You can see Weddle was stunned for a second.

That's when I felt the niners had been given their marching orders.

Thanks for pointing that out. I somehow missed that one. Just another example of how dirty they were playing.

I can respect playing "physical" but I cannot respect playing dirty with intent to injure. This isn't the 50's anymore when these type of things happened more often.

It's not a good look for the NFL. What if Stafford or OBJ were injured by the blatant dirty plays? Would there be any fines? Suspensions? Would it have been a bigger story that way?

#HelmetHornsMatter

“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.

“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
