The typical media sycophant dribble is.... DaVante Adams is the game's best WR. Really? Based on what?
If we simply look at the numbers compared to Kupp's it goes like this:
22 fewer catches
394 fewer yards
5 fewer TDs
The highest RAC in the league. The first Triple Crown winner in 16 years.
And this with Aaron Rogers not only throwing to Adams, but making him the primary target on most pass plays.
I don't know what kind of a blocker Adams is, but you sure never ever hear his blocking prowess mentioned. But Kupp is as good at blocking has he is with catching and running.
Is there any other WR that former players, coaches and GMs regularly say needs to be in the running for league's MVP than Kupp? Ever hear Adam's name mentioned as MVP? Nope.
At least for this one year, without question Kupp is the best WR in the game. And every stat and objective way of measuring it confirms it in spades. Not to mention the epic fail of Rogers and Adams in these playoffs, and the epic success of Stafford and Kupp.
