I don't buy it. I watched Gay closely during warm ups.

I always like to watch kickers in pregame. Gay did a pregame kick from almost the exact same spot on the field and he kicked a line drive that went under the cross bar. He and whoever was holding (Not Hekker in pregame) were sorta prodding the ground. He showed no signs of injury AT ALL. In fact, after that missed line drive he did about three more kicks from further back. His last was from about 55 out that would have been good from 60+
