Unlike Tony Romo who I really, REALLY liked when he was a newbie broadcaster. But since then, his exuberance and excitement while calling a game can sometimes be too much to take. I find myself cringing when he does that and just wanting him to dial it back a notch. It's not WHAT he says... it's HOW he's saying it that's starting to rub me the wrong way. He's just over the top way too often and I'd enjoy him a lot more if he didn't do it at decibels that make my dog howl. Has anybody noticed it's even beginning to affect the quality of Romo's voice which has taken on a raspy, gritty sound from all the yelling and such?
