Ever since the Miracle On Ice call. yes, he's said some things over the years that have annoyed me... but I think the man is fantastic.
Woke up this morning and started again... rewatching that pass to Kupp to set up the winning FG.... you can hear it in Al's voice.... he KNEW he was witnessing something off the charts amazing.
Al never gets in the way of amazing performances by Athletes.. providing just the right touch of exuberance, emotion, and fully aware of the significance of what's unfolding on the viewers TV screen.
