I didn't know Stafford well at all until he came to the Rams... so when they picked him up I researched everything I could and mostly... listened to the pundits and coaches either touting or criticizing him as a QB... but in reality, I didn't see much criticism... actually only the 'never won a.......' thing.
What I'm getting at is that I'm impressed how many 'in the know' knew this guy was a great QB. Mostly, quite obviously, the Ram's FO and McVay.
It's a very real 'pat yourself on the back' moment for a lot, nearly all, of the 'experts' who analyze these games. I'm expecting THAT aspect of the Stafford story to rise to the top soon. - JamesJM
