I was pretty upset with the way the Rams crumbled and lost the lead, but in hindsight, it was a better backdrop against which Stafford was able to operate.
As much as I hate these late game collapses, as long as we win, they can be teaching opportunities. These guys are learning what it takes to be winners and it has served them well the next time out so far. The defense is playing at an elite level and these guys on offense, surprisingly not Stafford, have GOT to learn that mental errors and carelessness are unacceptable at this level.

We are dominating first halves of games and showing that we are the better team. But each unit has had to learn the hard way that you can't let up even a little bit. Coaching, defense, special teams...now, offense. Which isn't a good thing but at the same time, overcoming those things is a building block and it should culminate in a win against SF next week.

This has all been setting up for the Rams to break the streak. The last time out showed that they are better than SF when everything's equal. They just let up. They won't make the same mistake again. McVay's got them figured out.
