Morris played the same soft zone he used with the Falcons and which probably led to his being switched to being a WR coach. It's only towards the end of the season that he has begun to play his secondary aggressively. His scheme dropped this #1 ranked defense to around the 16th ranked unit I'd argue it was more the players in the secondary, and less scheme after seeing it in person, being ranked in the top 5 in some of the negative pass defense rankings in the process.

He really doesn't like Morris. And thats cool, but he is wrong with what he is seeing or what he thinks he is seeing.
I've got issues with Morris's game plan, but even I find using the overall ranking drop as a barometer as being unfair. Unless Morris had exactly the same players as the year before it's comparing Gala Apples to Red Delicious: Same fruit family, but not the same genetics. If memory serves, only Donald, Ramsey and Floyd haven't seen a replacement from the year before due to free agency, injury, illness or trade.
