Sounds like a lot of folks have settled and accepted the uniforms because "it is what it is". Well, I haven't.
The ONLY thing I like about the new look are the blue and the yellow colors. I'm not going to list all the things I dislike about the uniforms because I've done that several times and for what purpose? It doesn't change anything. What I've accepted is that it really doesn't matter to the organization what I like and what I don't. Even so, I'll once again go on record and say... I don't care how good the unis look in person or on tv, or how they've taken a classic look and bastardized ... I mean... modernized it. Despite Demoff's assurance that they would "grow on us", they haven't for me. I still don't like them.
just curious, did you like it when the went to the "millennium blue" and "niner gold" in 2000?
I hated those at first, but quickly adapted and moved on.....
I'm a sucker for the 73-99's....but I'm sure there were a bunch of old heads complaining about those too when they went to those back in 73.....can't please everyone every time
If you ever got a chance to make it out to Sofi I think you'll actually like them...
Yep, I liked the millenium blue and century gold. Not sure what that has to do with the unis now. It's not just the new unis, specifically it's the bone and some of the silly things they did to the unis over all. I don't care for the new logos either. That ram/goat/ghost head is the absolute worse. Like I said, I like the Royal Blue and Sol colors and the new font is fine as well, but, that's it.
I'm guessing part of the reason you liked the change in 2000 was because the ST Louis Rams finally had their own identity ....
I'm guessing that is part of the reason the new look has become so popular at Sofi and in So Cal in general, is that it represents a break from the STL Rams colors and logo and is the new identity of the LA Rams
